KEP organize a Forum about Moderation in Islam

The knowledge exchange program of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Guidance organized a forum for moderation in Islam for scholarship students at Umm Al-Qura University in Makka. The forum was attended by Dr. Hassan Abdulhameed Bukhari, Dean of the Arabic Language Institute at Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Ahmad Al-Ghamdi, Dr. Salmani and co-organizer Meshaal Al-Omari from the Knowledge Exchange Program and Bakr Wattara from Umm Al-Qura University. Dr. Abdullah Al-Lhaidan, Advisor to the Minister supervising the Knowledge Exchange Program in the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh to the Director of the University and its faculity. and he warned students not to be betrayed by the deviant trends and politicized groups. Al-Lhaidan said that the government of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince, may God protect them, is doing much to support Islam and Muslims, including the program of granting students to study in this country where The Saudi universities are inviting thousands of students to be qualified and then return to their countries and spread the true Islamic call for moderation, love and peace. He urged students to be good ambassadors between their countries and the Kingdom. He also urged them to conveyed the good and tolerant experiences in this country. Al Lhaidan said the Ministry of Islamic affair will be happy to cooperate with them after graduation and send Books and the copies of Quran and the organization of legal and scientific courses to contribute to the advancement and progress of their countries and spread the correct doctrine and fight extremism and hatred and spread love and peace. More than 60 students from Asia and Africa attended the forum that continued from 9 am to 3 pm, followed by a luncheon for participating students.
