The conclusion of the intensive Arabic language course for Russian students

The intensive Arabic language course was cocluded on Thursday, 20/12/ 2018 in the presence of Dr. Abdullah bin Fahad Al-Lhaidan, supervisor of the Knowledge Exchange Program at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Dr. Yasser Babtain Dean Arabic Language Institute for Non – Native Speakers at King Abdulaziz University. The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran followed by a student. Then Dr. Yasser Babtain delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for cooperating with them in organizing these courses as this is the third session held in cooperation between the university and the ministry. The two sides praised the achievements of the previous sessions and this session in clarifying the moderate Islamic approach of Saudi Arabia and the development of relations with academic institutions in the countries concerned. Then Dr. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Lhaidan delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah and Guidance to His Excellency the Director of King Abdulaziz University, the Dean of the Institute and the students participating in this session. Al-Lhaidan expressed hope that this session will be a turning point in the life of each student and become apostles of love and peace between the Kingdom and Russia in general and the Kingdom and Muslims in Russia in particular and convey with them the Kingdom’s call for tolerance, coexistence and the Islamic approach of the Kingdom. Taking into account social and political conditions.
The certificates of participation in the course were distributed and gifts were presented from the Knowledge Exchange Program and the Arabic Language Institute for Students. The course lasted for six weeks and included Umrah, visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, a land trip and a number of entertainment and cultural activities to introduce students to the culture and life in the Kingdom.
