Organ donation is the removal of the tissues of the human body from a person who has recently died, or from a living donor, for the purpose of transplanting.
Organs and tissues are removed in procedures similar to surgery.
People of all ages may be organ and tissue donors.
Islam doesn’t prohibit the organ donation as saving human life is a necessity. But it prohibits the sale of organs where performing of such operations is available only in private health facilities not public ones.
It means that only the rich will benefit from such operations.
This process forces many peoples in the third world to sell organs to gain quick money.
